Turning OFF my listening ears!

So my day today was as folows:
I sat in a classroom at work from 8-4
Picked Cailyn up from daycare, dropped her off at my Mom's house
Sat in another class for school from 6-9.

Lectures galore (11 hours actually) from time card instructions to TQM... what a day. I have enough junk in my head, I can't even begin to organize it all.

So I am off to bed as I am exhausted.

(New job is going great though, more on that soon)

Have a great "hump day" tomorrow!

Party Day

Today we are going to a birthday party themed around pirates. Cailyn woke up this morning just thrilled that today, yes today was finally the pirate birthday party. In other news, Princess, our four month Aussie, is growing like a little weed. She is a lot of work, but we just LOVE her. She is so much fun and it makes a wonderful addition to our family.

Tomorrow we are back to the old routine as I am officially back to work. The last two weeks off with Cailyn was so much fun. Some of the highlights are:

-Going to Portland to the Children's Discovery Museum
-Swimming at the indoor pool
-Bar Harbor and Schoodic Point
-Cailyn's first try at mini golf
-Adventures at Uno's in Bangor... I will leave it at that.
-Shopping for new winter (yes it is getting cold up here) clothes
-Play dates with five other Moms and 8 kids at the park... and then McD's for lunch
-Lunch with our friends from High School that have just moved back
-Hosting my first Home Interior party
-Making pancakes for Cailyn EVERY morning :)
-Getting the house ready for winter and catching up on all my laundry

I now go back to full time work, part time school, and a busy toddler... but although life is hectic I am really enjoying the ride!

Here is a cute picture of Cailyn.

First Post

I have finally entered the world of blogging!
I hope to use this as an way to keep in touch with friends and family that are away, while also expressing my own views and ideas about what is going on around me.

Thanks for checking in. More to come once I get settled in.
