I really like this song...

Here is a great song. Check it out!

JOHN MAYER LYRICS

Say

Take all of your wasted honor
Every little past frustration
Take all of your so-called problems,
Better put 'em in quotations

Say what you need to say [x8]

Walking like a one man army
Fighting with the shadows in your head
Living out the same old moment
Knowing you'd be better off instead,
If you could only ...

Say what you need to say [x8]

Have no fear for giving in
Have no fear for giving over
You'd better know that in the end
Its better to say too much
Then never say what you need to say again

Even if your hands are shaking
And your faith is broken
Even as the eyes are closing
Do it with a heart wide open

Say what you need to say [x24]

My Big Little Helper

With my recent surgery and needing time to recover, Cailyn has turned into quite a little Mommy and has been a big help. Her new "fun" thing to do is vacuum the living room rug. She loves the idea of helping. Yesterday as she was leaving for day care she grabs her Dora the Explorer purse and cheerful shouts, "I look like a real Mom now, how cool!" Cailyn, I know one day you will be an amazing Mommy to your children. You are so compassionate and loving, just don't grow up to fast on me, I am having so much fun being your Mommy :)

Princess

Princess is 8 months old and still has a lot of "puppy" in her. She continues to be a wonderful addition to our household. She still loves to chew and really enjoys "fighting" our cat Higgans. We still can't figure out who is winning, but they really seem to enjoy each other :)

Birthday Girl!

Cailyn turned 4 years old on December 15th. We had planned to have her party at the arts studio, but as with Maine you can't plan on weather and we got a huge storm and had to change plans up a bit. So with three hours to spare, we ran to Wal Mart and got all the party supplies to have a fantastic party at the Kouhoupt household. Cailyn had a blast with 8 of her friends and their parents. There was pizza, snacks, cake, ice cream and fun party gifts. Our little girl is growing up so fast before our eyes... I don't dare and blink I am scared I might miss something. :) Happy Birthday to a wonderful little girl who makes me smile ear to ear on a daily basis.

Christmas

Christmas was so much fun this year. Cailyn really loved the magic of Santa (as did Aaron and I) She was amazed and wowed by Santa's ability to travel all around the world and make a special stop at our place to deliver just the right gift for her. Some of the highlights are:

-Making cookies together
-singing Christmas songs (which btw she is still singing jingle bells)
-watching Santa journey on the internet
-closing her eyes so tight wanting to fall asleep quickly
-looking up at the sky every night and asking, "Mommy what do you think Santa is doing?"
-having the ability to provide a wonderful holiday for my family

Okay let me explain....

So wow where have I been one might ask? Things have been a little hectic here as with most. There doesn't ever seem to be enough time in the day to get to this blog, although I know if I let it, this could prove to be a very fun and meaningful place for me to just be me. I am going to try to get on more and update about Cailyn more and share more pics (sorry Irene I know you are ready to kick my butt for lack of pics)... so with out further ado...
